Nice job buddy.

Went out Saturday and saw 4 does. This morning I was running 15 mins late. As I climbed into my stand I spooked 2 about 50 yards away.

Well done Captain!...watched a small 5 pt tonight, brought him in with a few bleats.  Then he went nuts and bumped 4 does into the plot.  Needless to say I owe that deer a beer.  One large swamp donkey heading for the freezer.  And he was still making scrapes after I shot her    :o  ...want me to enter her?

Nice job guys!
I'm starting to see some movement now, I have a 8 that just started visiting my backyard stand he made a scrape 5 feet from my stand.
It would be nice to get him but after eating my buck tag last season I doubt I'll pass on anything with two horns.

Well tonight was good and bad. Saw 9 doe but I missed one. I let my impatience and over confidence get me. 4 more feet and she would have been in my shooting lane but I felt I had room to take a shot. Hit a twig and sent it right over her back. Oh well. Tomorrow's another day.

Took a doe tonight. Finally had a shot at a lone dry doe. 40 yard quartering away shot. Went 40-50 yards and never took another step. Had no teeth on her top jaw. Bottom jaw was worn to the gums.

Thanks. I took all of my vacation at once this year so a total of 3 weeks. It's been fun but I'll be back to work soon.
