Been cooking my Turkey's this way for years. Oh so juicy!!

Yes very good and juicy! We call it trash can bird here.just make sure you burn out the galvanized first  ;D

I use a 35 gal grease barrel. Bought it new but certainly burned it out first ! Welded on the lifting handle,  flaired the ends and bound with stainless wire.
It's only purposes is cooking turkey!

Do it a lot.  You have a nice set up.
Im simple.  Five gallon metal bucket and a beer can holder..Do one every spring on our trip and everyone looks forward to Turkey sandwiches on Friday night..
