Well soaked all day yesterday about the second doe of the year I lost. I did shoot my bow yesterday and it was dead on. Made myself some venison last night which always makes me feel better. I was going to post some pics of the meal but the beer coozie is not appropriate for this site.lol
Headed out tonight for redemption. Had this doe come in at 35 yards and smoked her she went 60 yards and piled up on the field edge. Didn't take long for that smile of mine to come back. Thanks to all for the responses on my last post. I know to helped me to read them.

Good to see you got back in the saddle quickly. Remember, that other doe was an exception from the norm, and you did your best to make a recovery. That's all anyone can ask for. At the end of the day, you still represent the best of the ethics that a good hunter swears to uphold.

I thought the same thing Raquette, he was either really depressed or he was back at it...I'm glad it was the latter...After really bad depressing hunts is when I have had some of my best success...this hunting thing can be a rollercoaster ride...if you don't care if you lose a deer...thats where there is a problem...!
