Indiana bowhunter check in
« on: Oct 03, 2009, 12:32:20 PM »
Where are all the bowhunters.  The weather for the first few opening days has really put a damper on my tree sitting time!

Nice double lung CC.  I did the "river bump" today. We canoe down the river and I drop the woman off and canoe down stream a little.  Then have her do a slow push to me. Works good on narrow strip of trees between the river and field.  About the third push I had a doe and fawn almost run me over!  They turned within 5 feet of me and hit the corn.  There was a grain dryer running across the river so I couldn't hear them coming.  I was facing the river and they came up on my back side.  What a rush though!
