Thick hand packed elk burgers wrapped in bacon and cooked until pink in the center over the wood fire............that and a side dish of home made mac and cheese with sharp cheddar cheese.

Take your stress test and see your cardiologist in early fall and hit camp with a full cooler and fry away !!!

I own a Steakhouse so I usually just throw in a few Ribeyes or T-bones or Filets or...... well you get the picture. Some sandhills potatoes to go along with and a cold Coors non-alcholic brew, dig in.

You can hear it sizzling in the can. Pull it when ya almost cant hear it any more. You only use 10lbs of charcoal and when the charcoal is almost gone its ready.. The thing is to use alot of foil and make a depression in the dirt, like a bowl to catch all the drippings. I no longer use a stick I use one of those beer can holders with a beer in it.. I always put a big rock on the can to hold it down and make a good seal..  Remove all coles from around the can before you pull it off..
Now all ya need is a loaf of bread and some mayo.. ;D ;D

Hobo Pie Pizza all the way!!! :)
There i was back in the wild again, felt right at home where I belong. And I had that feeling comin' over me again, just like it happened so many times before. Oh Fred Bear, walk with me, down the trails again. Take me back, back where I belong. Oh Fred Bear, I'm glad to have you at my side my friend. And I'll join you on the big hunt before too long.
