Found out at 8 this morning I did not have to go to work today. Loaded RJ up and headed out. We went to one of the state pheasant sites. We ended up getting two birds one hen and a rooster. These birds are the worst looking pheasants Ive seen in 10 plus years of hunting them. We had a great time just the same. We left there to hit a woodcock cover. Rj did awesome she pointed 5 of them. The wind was blowing so hard when they jumped up they would hit the wind and be gone. I ended up with just one. The others there were no shots so they will be in the area next time. |

sounds like a great time, i have only been out pheasant hunting a couple times with out a dog with no luck, but those partridge are freakin fast haha |
