anyone ever shoot one of these? Hows the recoil and accuracy.

Well it is an elephant cartridge necked down to 30 caliber (translated -- the 460 is the same cartidge as the 378). The recoil of the 30-378 is not that bad actually but if you shoot 240 gr bullets, you know the recoil and noise are there. I use an evoshield t-shirt which masks the recoil. The noise is pretty nasty but the cartridge can kill at 1000 yards. In fact, a distant relative of mine (Earl Chronister) shot a 4 inch group of 10 shoots at a 1000 yards. I have a custom made 30-378 and love it. Course it has a wooden stock and a high gloss blue and is made properly IMO. People fear the riflre inappropriately.
