a while back...maybe two years or three...i picked up two savage rifles....were in nice shape...older guns..was a good deal too at local gun shop....i never did think of looking them up to see how old they were....one is same year i was born an its in the best shape...1958...i thought that rocked...im gonna use that gun til i cant hunt anymore. the other is like 1960...its also in great shape...i didnt think they were that old and in that good of shape..
