For some unknown reason the tyrant Cuomo enjoys a 70% popularity rating in NYS.  70% of New Yorkers must be idiots and they say you can't fix stupid. Just this past weekend our Furher said that if you are what his highness deems to be an extreme conservative you don't belong in New York.  One of his definitions of extreme conservative is if you are opposed to his "assault weopon" ban.  New Yorkers need to wake up and vote this jerk out or we are doomed.

I would imagine he would be better than the socialist in office at the moment   ....   or friggin Hillary.

I'm not saying i like him or want him in by any means .... it is hard to imagine the American public will be stupid enough to put another democrat in office.

I really wonder what is next .....  years ago corporations were able to offer retirement, health insurance etc but they were forced to shoulder the burden of much higher taxes so they cut back. Now the schools and municipalities are being forced to cut back.

While this is going on our property and school taxes are skyrocketing. Kids are going $100K into debt for college and getting out and not getting a job.

Despite all of this the majority of young people are voting for Obama and his party ....  JUST NUTS!!

That's the problem!  The majority of the population in our country live in Urban areas on the coast. These Urban areas are heavily democratic. People are like sheep and tend to vote strict party lines. NY State would be a much different state if we didn't have NYC and Long Island  dragging us into socialism.

The perfect example of how our system is screwed up was the re-election of Alan Hevesi for comptroller of NYS.

He was under indictment for stealing / cheating and the voters still elected him. It was obviously done so that he would be replaced with another democrat once he got convicted and went to jail.

BUT ..... that means the majority of voters chose to vote for someone who had been caught cheating them .....  how anyone could vote for someone who did that is beyond me 

Another perfect example is a local guy here in Albany named Mike McNulty .... he spoke at a chamber meeting and sounded great. I watched his votes and almost every one, if not every one, went with his party. If that is the case then why have the representatives at all? I can't imagine there weren't some issues that his constituents would have preferred him to vote differently.
