Here's some pictures of my blind, it is roughly 11' long and 5' wide, about 3' of water where the blind is and the floor is roughly 3' off the water, taking a little longer then expected, blind is about a mile away from my house, turned out to be a little harder then expected to trailer all the big logs from the house to blind, still a lot to be done, will post more pics soon

I would build a small camp on it and stay in it.

i dont think it will too bad when it is all done, the grass right there is usually a lot taller but not in these pictures because we have been walking around through it so much, also when the walls and everything are up they will also be covered with grass.

I like it mgrant11, you get her covered with some grass and such and you'll be fine. I like the fact that you used almost all natural material for the frame work, plus being up a little bit it gives you're upward shooting range another 4 feet

its actually a stream, but about as wide in parts as most rivers, the ice shouldn't be too bad because it usually doesn't freeze over very well in that area for some reason, as for all the natural material all the walls and everything else are also going to be made from the same stuff, debating right now on using metal roofing or not for the roof and spray paint it or use metal roofing and then maybe just go over that with logs so it all blends in better together, any suggestions would be appreciated on the roof, definately don't want it to leak for the days it's raining.
