devilman and i are going sunday. hopefully i can call 1 in for him.  :)

Not only did Spiker2 call in a bird, he called in seven toms! The first two just kind of looked as they were walking by. Then we moved and got on five more birds, two gobblers and three jakes. They were on fire!
As they were slowly moving up the hill away from us I got the one shot of the day.
I biffed it from fifteen yds...
Thanks, Spiker. I had a great time! Your calling skills are truly impressive.

All right- lay it on me now. I deserve it.  ;D
15yds. try more like 10. i thought for sure he was going to turn its head into a bean bag. the 5 of them walked in a perfect line 1 behind the other right in front of him. when i heard the shot i saw the turkey jump and run. to this day i cannot beleave he missed :o i
guess we can chalk it up and add it to the experience. as for the 1st 2. when they passed to d-mans right they were only 15yrds away. at 1st i could not understand why he did not shoot but when he explained that he could not tell if they were toms or hens when they passed. the only thing i know is that from where i was sitting, there heads were lit up like red x-mas bulbs and they just gobbled 2 seconds b-4 they popped out from behind the fallen tree. so im going with the fact that he has tom fever just like buck fever  he got to nervus and jerky hearing allthose birds gobble for more than 2hrs. ;) but all in all it was a great day. had some new experiences and also had the chance to hunt with a new person
that with time a  :) freindship can form .

were going to have to start all over with you. like they did in the pre-historic days. a
a spear and a rock hatchett. if you can hit anything with them then we will graduate
you to a beebee gun and grow from there. ;D

yeah. thats how its done. so when the workers start to slack off you take pop shots at them so that way they keep up the pace. ;)

LOL I watched the prisoners put in the docks at Silver and the guard had a 12 gauge to help convince them to get into the 45 degree water.

GET IN, BOY, GET IN!  :o
