I shot it last night sitting on a plastic endtable on the ground from 30 yds. Double lung, shot. They turned to absolute mush. I'll write it all up when I stop working 24/7. Pics aren't on this cpu. I'm so pumped though. I found where they bed during the days, so every single night almost they're coming out of the thick thick stuff, following the creek bed, and heading up the hill to the acorns. I walked through that area one day where they bed and it looks like a hampton inn. Been getting 15-20 pics on a daily basis. Just had a memory card error and couldn't view 330 pictures that I had on the primos can. I'm just hoping they keep taking this route once the acorn feeding stops. I've seen more in the last couple weeks than I usually do all year long. I'll have to look around next few weeks for maybe some beech once they start eating those. There's one bruiser out there and I won't stop until I find him.

Thanks, I don't think that feeling will ever go away. As soon as i see brown movement I can't even breath. My heart pumps, my eyes go blurry, and I have borderline convulsions.  Half the reason I wear a harness in the stand is because I might pass out when I see a deer. The thing that actually saved me last night was reading Issiah's post a while ago. I just kept thinking to myself "take deep breaths, anchor the release on the corner of my mouth, and make sure to look through the peep!!"

I know the feeling well!! Hope it never goes away from any of us...
I did have things under control for a while, just sort of went on autopilot.
Then watching Tyler line up a 20 yard shot at a spike and even though he missed(shot right under it) Not having control over what happened and
his excitement to be shooting at a buck brought all of mine back again.(I even missed the same spike, it only ran 10 yards out and to the side of us.)

Great advice to follow. Finding your anchor points is a big one.
