Rifle Calibers for Whities and Mulies?

My personal preference for both species is the semi-auto 7mm rem magnum that I own.  It is heavy medicine for whitetail but every deer I have hit with it was a one-shot kill.

The 7mm-08 is a fine rifle also for deer... I am planning on buying a nice bolt-action in this caliber for next season.

Well my gun in the bottom is a Mosin Nagant 91/30 model. Made in Russia there cheap under $100 or a bit more and the ammo is easy to find Remington make the ammo
and other places and come in soft point for hunting. It's are really strong round it 7.62x54r. And you can buy the stock and stuff I have.
