Otto's 2012 Trail Cam Pics
« on: Nov 06, 2012, 09:29:28 PM »
After getting bit by the trail cam bug last year, I have been on the lookout for cameras on sale or closeout.  I picked up 4 cameras since last fall, 2 were given to me by a friend that reps one of the companies.  A good friend to have!  I set them out in early October, later than I wanted to, and finally had a chance to check them today.  One is not firing, got to be my setup or something, I'll pull that one and test it.  One was pointed to the sky, but I did get a picture of a flock of geese.  The other three produced some decent shots, but no clear color closeups like last year.  One camera had several pictures of turkeys, deer and an owl.  Good place to sit anytime of the year.

This guy has an interesting rack and seems to be around quite a bit, at least in the nighttime.

It's always nice to get good shots, but this is very upsetting......I have no idea who this is, and the camera is in the middle of the property, over 100 acres.

Great pics. It's very aggravating to see the trespassers. Now you've got the camera bug and there's no cure.

This is not a trail cam pic, but taken on my phone.  I was walking along and noticed him peeking out of a hole a few feet away from me.  Stayed still long enough for me to get my cell phone out and snap two photos.  It's an ermine, which I had no idea were in Central New York.

No, the camera must have moved after I set it.  I had over 500 pictures of clouds and birds, but the flock of geese were pretty cool and when I posted it, it was. (and is) goose season.

Cool pic - I've never seen them in the winter coat.
I'm bound to stay where you sleep all day, Where they hung the jerk that invented work, in the Big Rock Candy Mountains.
