LAST CHANCE [ IT'S OVER FOR ME ]

              Well this weekend will be our last chance w/a rifle to get the big one or any size in the northern zone. I wish everyone the best of luck!

I'm gonna head out a in a bit, hopefully I'll finally nail something. The way this season went, I'm gonna focus more on geese and ducks next year until this late part of the season rolls around.

         Well I wasn't able to hookup w/a decent deer, so for me it's over. I do have a muzzle loader but I don't have any place lined up to where I can hunt, up here the black powder area is east of the Hudson River. I had a fun time out, just about every time out I saw Doe's or that little spike. Of course I did get a bear opening weekend of the regular season & a coyote. Good luck to the rest of you for a successful week to come. :)

Hope that spike is still there in a year or two for you  ;). A NY bear is always a trophy. Sounds like you saw more deer than most this season.
