My Maine Moose Hunt
« on: Nov 07, 2010, 04:43:24 PM »
Just got back from my Maine moose hunt and what a blast.  I was lucky enough to draw a cow tag for zone6 wich is one of the best zones to hunt moose in Maine.  The hunt started on monday and seen all bulls 25 of them untill i finally spotted my cow in a chopping.   Hunted 2 and a half days till i seen her and finally connected.  1 shot from the 30-06 @ only 50 yards and she was down.  We brang her to tagging station and she weighed 600 pounds dressed.  I will send pics to Joe Snag and hopefully he will post them for me.
