The bucks have come home to poppa.
« on: Sep 09, 2010, 05:14:27 PM »
Checked the cams today while out trimming shooting lanes. On the way out I see someone coming up the trail. Oh no its little Richard I though nope another distant relative. :o :o You have got to be kidding me. Has not hunted there in two years and decides he was going to come back this year. ::) Not even going to tell you guys my thoughts on this cause I'm sure you already know them. Anyway had six different bucks on camera eating apples. I was going to trophy hunt but now all bets are off.

Holy smoke's. That's quite a selection to choose from. I would sit right in that "apple tree" if I was you, that thing must be loaded.  ;D ;D ;D

Take a deep breath brother, I hope your relatives hunting skills are rusty compaired to yours. You've got a bunch of bucks running around from the looks of things. but I sympathize with ya. I would be pretty bummed to with other hunters budding in.

So the story of Tiny has gone through the family huh. Really sucks what a set of antlers will make people do....
I haven't hunted with my one brother in over 20 years. He heard from someone I was seeing a good buck but just couldn't get close enough.
So he invited a bunch of guy's from his work to come up and drive the crap out of that area.
They shot a real nice 10 point. They didn't even stop at my parents to show it off. He knew if I had happened to be there he would have been crawling to get in his truck.......These days I don't get protective for my sake, but do for my sons. I want him to see and shoot a good buck.
