I second that! Back in the good old days with my dad we had Treed Hundreds of bears and to this day he or i have yet to harvest one. Had to finish off a few that clients turned into dog killers with poor shots but never shot one for us. it was always about the hounds and the chase. GOOD TIMES!!!!!!!!

I just graduated to bear hunting with hounds a few years ago. I have been coon hunting with hounds going on 20 years or so maybe even a little longer. There is nothing like the sound of a good hound locating then going into a hard chop..... I agree with you bogman it is all about the dogs. I will be chasing the hounds in July and cannot wait. Love to shoot them with a 35mm or digital camera now.                         Lance

  We have set season dates that we can train Hounds on certain game. Bear,Coon,Rabbit etc
