Who's going out today and tonight in the northern zone? It's finally here and I can't wait til after work. Last night in my spot there were 15 deer. Hope they come back tonight. Good luck!!!

Went out last night, only saw 1 doe too far away to shoot. Great night though the weather was excellent.

Well, my old man had an 8 pointer walk to within 12 yards of him, only to stand facing him in the only shooting lane...and if you're ethical, you know that's a no-no as far as shots go. The deer promptly spun, and walked off. The guy he went up with shot a real nice 6 pointer, an hour after shooting a medium sized doe. It's heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere

Well Im not hunting northern zone but I have a spot.  I am waiting for the opener of turkey on the 1st and then bow season of southern zone on the 15th.  Seen some big tracks I can't wait.

My Northern Zone "opener" will be this Sunday. Word I have from my buddy is he has the Doe figured out well and maybe even a buck or two.  He has seen many Doe some close enough to shoot just no shot available.
Saturday is supposed to rain and Sunday looks better. Could make for a nice hunting day.

Just an update.

Nothing bow hunting, I did have a couple shot's at some little one's but let them go.

Muzzleloader-I shot a nice big doe on Sunday the 16th.

Rifle-Went up to camp by Speculator, did lots of walking and I saw no deer, we did have one guy see 3 does for all of our effort. It was a great weekend of hunting, still lots of leaves on the trees.
