Headed up to the Sapphire mountains this weekend. Had some good action up in the Little Belts last weekend. The elk were chattering but didn't seem to be fully rutting. I could get them to respond and come within about 100. They were hesitant to come closer. Had a 4 by 4 Muley walk under my stand I'd say he was around 120. I could have smoked him but I decided to let him go (that took some self control lol) I Didn't wanna fill my general tag just yet.
