where i hunt in the Northern zone i am happy to see a buck every couple years. would you believe my crew of 3 hunters saw 3 bucks yesterday???? i carried my Great Grandmothers 30.30 which is very special to me and was lucky enough to put a mature 8 point in the peep sights.

Congrats. Very nice buck. I know what you mean about the Adirondacks but it makes it all worth it...hunts2long

Nice Buck! Congrats. I know how you feel using a family heirloom while hunting. I have used my great grandfathers hunting knife since I was 16. It has gutted every deer I have taken.

   Great buck, and I know what you mean about the heirloom, I took several nice deer with Dad's old 740, feels like a part of him is with me every time I carry it  ;D
