.22 Rimfire Scope
« on: Aug 03, 2010, 01:54:56 PM »
My buddy came over on Sunday evening and we did some shooting with the shotguns then did some plinking with the rimfire rifles (okay I also pulled out my center fire too ;)).
I don't have a scope on my 22 rimfire and was able to shoot respectfully, but I did put afew shots through his rifle and I really liked what could be done with a scope on the rifle. He has a tasco 3-16x40 with AO, its a high power scope but it worked really well.

I'm just wondering what do you guy have on your rimfire rifles?

I just put a Bushnell 4x32 on mine, haven't shot it yet, but I really like the set-up.

Put a tasco pronghorn 3-9 /40mm on my Winchester son of the gun 22 mag. '94. It will drive tacks at 100 yards. Love taking that to turkey shoots.
I've tried lots of .22 scopes, but the tube is always to small, and I get black out with them. I would rather spend a few more dollars for a cheaper
rifle scope.
