Title: new trigger for my rem 700
Post by: mt.perchman on Apr 20, 2014, 10:03:07 AM
Well just recieved my new timney trigger and a trigger pull guage. Installed it yesterday boy oh boy what a difference . I set it at 1 3/4 pds. Just changed it this morning to 2 3/4 pds . Wow it was to light for me . Im use to the stock rem trigger .
Im trying to build a long range shooter.

Remington sendero stainless fluted 300 ultramag topped with talleyone piece rings  a 6.5 x 20 x 50 lr leupold.
so far it shoots great. Broke it in with some 150 gr. REMINGTON S .  Im trying some 210 nosler long range factory loads now.
Trying to get reloading equiptmen now. Found some RETUMBO powder to use . Boy its hard to find any reload stuff...

I just got a Timney for a 223 coyote gun I'm building. I got mine preset to 4lbs and that feels pretty good for now. I think my M77 '06 is in the 3-3.5lb range and that's probably where this one will end up eventually.

Update

Found a bell & carleson 40x tactical stock on sale at midway usa $ 188.00 also 300 ultra mag dies and shell holder .
The stock looks sweet !!! Fits like a glove . Cant wait to shoot it. Just love the drop grip style.
