I thought I'd share some of the rather weird stuff we're asked to do at the shop.
This is a run of the mill SKS...the customer HAD to have a scope on it. It had to be an offset mount because the firearm ejects straight up.

It'll sight in ....for 1 distance only.
Actually, I've seen many Mauser sniper rifles and Garands with offset scope mounts. They always looked a bit funky to me but the users were quite accurate with them.

I know, I have a 30-30 with a top ejection, scope not on there anymore. :'( Darn deer wouldn't cooperate. :D
