Dead moose
« on: Apr 07, 2021, 08:19:54 PM »
So this young cow happened on the ice Easter Sunday watched her for a while, next morning she was still out there.

Once and a while she would bed for an hour or so, but when she was on the move she'd go back and forth and circle. Local warden showed up that evening cause someone called it in. He thought it was ticks and I mentioned brain worm.

She nearly made it off the lake that night but went back out. Warden came back out the next morning to watch her and he was now under the impression it was probably brain worm.

Went to check on her this morning, she was lying there but her head was no longer up...
