Grand Finale Buck

Took opening week off this yr in pursuit of the elusive Whitetail Buck.Drove throughout the week probably 400 miles and walked 15 miles and at for many.It all came to a conclusion 10 minutes from home walking to my usuall stand one a.m. on the last day that I had to hunt.Here's the finall result! ;D



Already looking forward to next year. ;)

226 yds.He took two steps and and then all I could see was feet in the air. ;D

That sure is one sweet buck roscoe.  It looks eerily similar to a buck my uncle took 7 yrs ago, even down to the red colored forehead, his was non-typical due to a bunch of kickers by the brows but the rest of the rack is almost identical.   Did you score him up yet?  Looks like it should go around 160-170.

Thanks all! Beauty of a buck but the score isn't there as he dosen't have the mass or beam length.I rough scored him at 146 typical. 19" o/s spread.Young Buck.I've seen what his genes came from once only and didn't take the shot last yr.It was aprox. 450 yds. and I didn't want to wound the largest buck I've ever seen on the hoof;I figured 190+ class typical.Didn't see him this yr though! :'( Something to look forward to next yr. ;) The backstraps were awsome last night though. :)

146 ain't bad at all.  Those pics are sure great though, makes it look bigger than that!
