Depends where you live. If you live where the deer yard up in the winter you want to go check those areas out. If they don't I do the best in and around fields as well as thick bedding areas.

Figured I would dust this thread off since it’s that time of year. Yesterday I went out to pull a few cameras that were left up for some post season intel and figured I would do a little shed hunting while I was out. Ended up finding one side to an 8 pointer that I have quite a few pictures of. He should be a really nice deer this upcoming season.

Looking like good shed hunting conditions are here again. This rain has knocked the snowpack back down. I’ll be giving it a shot this upcoming week

My nephew has a German Shorthair that is finding quite a few. The only problem is, if you don't get it away from him right away, the dog will bury it. Still some work to do....h2l

Hey guys. Figured I would get this thread going again. Anyone been out lookin for fresh sheds? Work has been pretty busy this winter and between that and ice fishing I haven’t took a walk in the woods yet. We haven’t had the thaws like last year but there has been a time or 2 that the weather has been decent for shed hunting. I’ll keep everyone posted on my success at the end of this winter and early spring. Good luck guys
