Just want to whine a bit, 1st time since 2005 and I am eating track soup, put in alot of hours at my old standby spot but only saw 1 spike and as he was heading threw some thick stuff the sun popped over the eastern ridge and blinded me, never saw that lil guy again..So you all know, I hunt the same piece of woods all the time and this year even though I moved locations a bit I just could not connect..Thats Hunting..

Toughest season of my life buddy, only connected on 2 bucks and still have a N.H. rifle tag.

Just look at it this way all those missed opportunities this year will be bigger next year!

It's been an interesting year for me. Spent most of my time hunting and trying to learn a couple new spots. I plan on trying to get out over winter and do some scouting to try and continue to put the pieces of the puzzle together. I had one spot that several different bucks on camera over the course of the season. A lot of nocturnal action, need to figure out where the bedding area is in the area and see if I can even access it.  My season isn't quite done yet and I'm already plotting next season.

The way i see it, A good hunter is ALWAYS plotting next season. I could never just shut it off...lol
