TC Encore Pistol (209 x 50)

So I've been doing some research on the TC Encore Pistol in 209x50 or 209x45 and it seems like the options are pretty limited.  Looks like I either have to buy a custom barrel, find a used barrel or find a gunsmith to cut and recrown a rifle barrel for me.  Anybody have any experience with this?  The original barrel looks like it was 15 inches but I think I would prefer something a little shorter.  Only place I have found that will put a custom barrel together for me is Bullberry and at close to $600 just for the barrel I'm a bit hesitant to take the leap.  Thanks

Thanks!  Been considering that as well.  Its a slick looking firearm.  Enjoy my encore but after seeing the price Bullberry wants for a custom barrel I might have to consider changing companies.  Could almost buy 2 of the optima pistols for the price of the Bullberry barrel    I think I might be able to chop a used barrel and recrown for a much more reasonable price but I need to find a good gunsmith first.
