7th one is a charm

                 Went with my Grandson Cody ; Today for a ride and come back with this !!!
                 His first buck he shot on youth weekend of 2011 ; This was his 3rd. year of 
                 hunting he has taken 6 others as well ; He's into bow hunting big time as well ;
                 I missed his first buck ; While I was well on my way to Maine for 2 weeks of
                 Hunting myself

           I'm so glad to see that mount , that young man will remember that deer for the rest of his life and will respect every deer as a trophy . Well done GMH  ;D

That is the ticket!! Wish everyone could get their first buck mounted....sure is  monumental day!!  My son is 21 and just shot his first bucks...last fall..one with bow and one with rifle...he could have walked on water with both!! Bet that young man is an outdoors man for life!! Good job Gramp!!!

Think I was 26 when I got my first deer, a spike. Have the picture on my TV. Not many people have full facial hair in their first deer picture  8).

         Thats a great thing for you to do for your grandson, he will remember that deer for a long time. It's good to get them interested early & that's the way to do it. Congrats to Cody on a job well done.
