Post by: seags on Jul 04, 2016, 11:09:54 AM
Yes; Happy Independence Day.
Be safe, be smart.
 Ok here it goes:
1 cup of beer Bud/Old Style/PBR/Mickeys/ your choice.
1 and 1/2 cups bottled chili sauce
3 Tablespoons of grated onion
2 Tablespoons of grated green/red pepper your choice
2 Tablespoons of vinegar
2 Teaspoons of sugar
2 Tablespoons of Worcestershire
2 Teaspoons of chili powder
Bring to a boil constantly stirring, after the boil add a half bottle of open pit sauce
Let simmer, stirring, stirring, and stirring on "Low Heat"
Yea sounds like a pain, but very good.
You will know when it is done.

Yea, I found that recipe from the mid 80's.
I have another one, but very in-depth.
Give me some time to share it for you.
