Old pics from camp

My wife's uncle posted these today on FB....

Uncle John in front of camp.  No porch, which came full circle this fall, as the porch was taken off to prepare for major work in the spring to re-level the sagging front wall.




My brother-in-law Mike with a nice stringer of pannies.

The father-in-law I never met.  He died long before I ever met her.

Pleasant Lake, just SE of Black Lake in St. Lawrence County.

Not as often as we like, but still a few times a year.  I try to be up there for the duck opener now, plus some summer trips.


And yes, there are some crappies, but I've never targeted them.  I know of one party barge that sits in a certain spot in late spring / summer, and I'm sure that's what they're after.
