Title: Birds down
Post by: Huntnfish603 on May 04, 2019, 09:57:24 AM
Finally got a chance to get out this morning. Took a friend that's been wanting to get a turkey for a while. Pulled the pop-up out(not usually my style but great for 2 people) and setup before 5.
Textbook setup, Although the birds were very quiet this morning.Well, 3 Tom's came in, only 1 survived. Doubled down and my buddy got his first ever!
What a great morning! Mine was a measely 19 lbs, his 23. Great hunt and awesome to be with fellow Hunter to get his first.
Now on to fill the other tag.......
Good luck to those in pursuit.
