Thanks guys. I made a tripod for my third trail cam (when it comes back) so I can put it on the new plot. I used a broken set of poles (3/4) from my blind. I just put a 1/4-20 stun in the middle, should work good for a free standing camera.

Great pics STKA - I really like that B/W photo of the doe and her fawn.   Any of this pics near your new food plot?

No, those are where I'm planning to move a stand. It's on the far side of the neighboring property where I got the pics of the two big sevens last year. I heard deer walking by me almost every time I was in the stand, but saw very few. So I'm moving the stand into the woods about fifty yards, about ten from camera. There's a small hardwood with two small pines right next to it that looks like a good covered spot with natural lanes in place. I probably won't check that camera again until I move the stand over.

I'm hoping to get on some before SZ archery opens. I don't see bait mentioned on the DEC website any more, but I was planning on bringing some old freezer burnt fish every time I went over setting stands to get them checking the pasture regularly. The way I read it though I can bring the 22lr with me bow hunting. I probably won't get to recover them, but I can take them down. I'll have to work on my semi-auto shooting, not something I usually do. I had five or more come out in a pack last year close to me but not in bow range.

So we're spending all this time brush hogging, it'll be three days by the time we're done. I just talked to my uncle who said "You should have told me, we could have trailer my small tractor and 5' finishing PTO hog down". I can also use the york rake to turn the soil for the plot and get some of the grass out. I know what I'm doing after turkey season next spring.

Brush hogging is DONE (enough). Not a ton of pics but here's a few. Looks like a decent little seven, I'd be happy to get a shot at him.

No that's just grass growing in the hard woods inside the corner stand where I was getting pics of the big seven. I heard a lot of deer moving in there from the stand last year, so I'm planning to move the stand in there. That one fawn is big and almost out of spots all ready, I moved that camera from the pasture to where I plan to put the stand near the new big plot. With this water I won"t be back there for at least two weekends.

I think I picked a good spot to move the corner stand to  ;). Not sure what this little guy on the tree is, flying squirrel maybe?
