Looks like he will be a nice one this season. Have not seen any velvet yet in my neck of the woods. I am wondering since I see so many doe with fawns if they don't chase them out of the area for a while.

I do like them. the infrared pics blur easily with motion but that's the only disadvantage I've seen.

I'm sure they're not far. I bet that you would see them if you had a camera in that grassy area past where we found the doe on the far side of those pines. That seemed like a great quiet place for them to hang out without being disturbed.

Here's one of two younger bucks that shows the new corn field in the background. The small fork/six in the back could be a twin of the six point I shot last season next year.

I'm really hoping to see one of the new huntresses get any one of these bucks, I'll probably be a little picky at this spot (not so much near home). I had 5-8 different bucks on camera but with the blurry pics it's hard to be sure how many were different. I'll get a better count over the next two months.

Looking good Steve...  Always nice to see velvet in pictures...   My cam had 1 doe and some turkeys and 100 wind pictures from a branch... 8)
Going to mow the apple tree field tomorrow and set it up over there....
