Yup, best place I could find to get a lot of coverage of the pasture. That's the two man ladder stand I put up to coyote hunt out of. My friend hunts it occasionally with his daughter. The camera is on a small tree next to the bench seat. Set it up to use as a community stand, it's had many people in it target shooting and what not. And still I've shot at more things out of that stand than any other, shot a big doe, missed a doe, nicked a buck and missed a coyote. That's not counting all the deer I passed on and coyotes that were out of range. The tree in the center of the pasture to the right is where the nice buck was last fall, I was in a ladder on the right side by the pine. It is a cool spot, it's a secluded pasture in the outer suburbs. The genetics stink and the poachers are a constant pita. Spent opening day of gun season trampling through the whole area with my buddy and a cop looking for two of them.

I forgot I had a few pics from when I pulled the camera last year. Was to POed from the third getting stolen. This is a small buck rubbing a big tree (maybe 4"dia) then turns away from another buck but changes his mind and faces off with him. Real hard to see the second buck but it has better tine length than the first one. Should be plenty of ratty racked bucks around again. Really going to try staying out before the season this year, means no camera checking  :-\.

That's the same area I heard two bucks fighting right before I saw the nice one in the pasture, actually called it over with a grunt tube. He stood broadside at ~75yds in the wide open before heading back to the does.
