I've gone out looking a few times for morels this year, only recently finding out what they were, and that they were edible. In past years, I've seen them in my yard, kicked them, run them over with the lawnmower etc.

Turns out apparently they are supposed to be quite tasty. Go figure.

Anyways, I've only seen two so far this year, which I only noticed as they disappeared under the front of my mower. I've gone looking in the woods around my house for them, but that hasn't gotten me anywhere either.

Perhaps it's not a good year for them? This is supposed to be peak season!
