I wear shoulder length gloves. Stuff makes me break out in hives. Not sure if its the blood or the skin but never fails if I do it with no gloves hives all over my arms and itching and sneezing like crazy. While skinning my Buck this yr I happened to itch my neck with the gloves and sure as sh!t hives all over my neck within minutes. Not a fun time. Not to mention all my friends calling me a Pansy for using gloves while gutting  ::)

You caught it, dang it! LOL...seriously though, since I became more serious about bowhunting is when I started using them...I don't want all my gear stunk up with blood and guts, I can't wash my backpack and I even though I wash all my stuff a few times a year I try to minimize the all that stuff getting on them, I could care a less what I smell like come gun season but all my archery stuff is as good as I can keep it...plus I thought using gloves was stupid too until my Grandfather, my Dad and my Uncle all started using them...I guess old dogs do learn new tricks...I love them...and actually everone I hunt with use them as well...

I do agree with that, I don't carry a bag though and all my gear is washed right when I get home. Bow is also wiped down with scent away wipes 8)
