Storm effects on hunting
« on: Oct 28, 2012, 07:15:22 PM »

I was coming home from my # 2 sons house a little while ago & saw a lot of deer a various spots, are they moving because of the up coming storm? If so how long will it effect them afterwards? ???

As soon as the storm is over the Rut will kick into High Gear...full moon on Halloween it is on!  Just my prediction, should be much cooler too...I have to wait until gun... :( :)

If the storm hits like predicted, they'll be hunkering down until it subsides. I expect the rut to be in full force by the second week in November as usual.

I would be in the woods right through it if it was gun season. I would expect them to be moving once it eases up.
