Great 1st weekend

We saw over 15 deer all were doe the bucks were staying very elusive. but scratched the itch got meat for the freezer and we burned up a couple of m tags hopefully the boys start chasing I know the does are ready saw a bunch of blood in urine spots in the woods couple of 125#lbers

Nothing wrong with putting meat in the freezer before finding your buck.

Nice work! Same here, passed 20 deer this weekend ALL does. Plenty of live bait I spose.

good point never thought of it that way... so food for thought if you shoot a buck mounting a doe would you have to tell the check in station you shot it over bait??.. :D :D

Yeah awesome first weekend. First morning was hunting season at its best. 25 degrees, calm, cold and 3" of fresh snow.
Tons of deer taken this weekend. My local check in station was up to 700 for the weekend as of Sunday, and 1300 for the season so far.
Lots of freezers full.

Well it's all mostly gone now. Yesterdays 50 degrees did a number on it.
It was rough yesterday with all the trees dripping. Nice while it lasted for one day though
