First sad story of muzzleloader season, at least for me.
On stand way before first light this morning, sitting on the ground which is not my fav but my tree stand was a ways away and all the sign was on this side of the hill. "Tree stand is now moved"!!!
about 10 minutes before sunrise, still dim but shootable and legal light, I see a movement about 80 yds thru the woods, look thru the scope and see antlers, vanish, see em once more, probably 8 points and then gone forever...grunted to no avail, have never grunted anything in before so maybe i am not to good at it. Nuf said. Of course I will be back there...
