Thought I'd share this with everyone in case anyone missed this.

Man what a nice buck!

Contender for the Toughest Buck Award.....

This deer had some very uncomfortable days until he was harvested by this hunter. It is obvious that there was a fight during the rut and this deer ended up with an extra antler (embedded below the eye). You can see that the antler from the attacking deer was broke off below the base of the antler as there is still blood on the pedicel. That takes a tremendous amount of pressure. Pretty amazing.

I don't know, do you have it mounted like this?

I think I would!

No idea were it was shot. A buddy of mine sent this to me from NY. I'll have to call him to find out.

Kinda funny though how his ears are pointed out to the sides and not up straight.

His ears are where they should be.. What a nice buck.... I would mount it just the way it is......

Was the deer harvested by a hunter or was it found? only reason i ask is the legs look kind of stiff. Either way, i would mount it as is in either case. That is quite the buck.

With the blood coming from his nose and mouth, it would lead me to believe this guy shot him and it was a lung shot.
