Hunting Binoculars
« on: Oct 30, 2014, 07:42:01 PM »
I've got the itch for some new binoculars.  Do you guys rely on binoculars much while deer hunting?  You guys have any experiences, (positive or negative) with reasonably priced (under $200 by my budget) set of hunting binoculars? I'm leaning towards something like a 8x30 so they are still somewhat compact.

I have a set of Burris 10x42.  I paid just under $200.  I've had the compact binocs and never used them.  Once I got the 10x42's I love them.  Much more useful then the little compact binos.  I got a strap that holds them to my chest.  There never in the way and easy to access when I want them.  I use them all the time.  One of the best incidental investments I've made.
