Definitely too short of an arrow.  worst part is its stuck like that hope they had a van or something to transport him to the hospital in.  Gonna need some area for the bow and the arrow to ride like that..

Yup, to short of an arrow and either lack of knowledge or not thinking. I'd just pull it out and go get it cleaned at the ER. I'd rather have my bad foot for bow season than his hand.

Training tell's me to leave it if it was someone elses hand but I would pull it out too. It's a long way from his heart.  ::) ::) ::)

Aren't you supposed to notch a grove in it, pour gun powder in the grove, lite on fire and pull it through so it cauterizes it??    ::) ::) ::)
Works in the cowboy movies.. ::) ::) ::)

If it were me, I would cut the arrow out of my finger just to get to an ER, it's the shallowest wound..  Imagine the pain of trying to stabilize that bow or cowboying a ride to the ER while holding that bow/finger assembly?

Ya, I'm with you.  I'd have cut my way out, either the skin flap on my finger or the arrow.  Either way I wouldn't have gone to the hospital with the bow.
