Thats what i do with all my bucks except one, but i burry mine for a year than whiten them with a little bleach mixed with water than set them in the sun to whiten nice

Love the mount John. I euro mount all my own. Van Dykes Taxidermy supply sells easy DIY kits with the chemicals to clean off the meat and grizzle. I even do the elk heads that way. Awesome trophy Bro!
