This weekend was an eventful one for my daughter and I. Saturday was fun alot of hens a few Jake's one tom but not a shot to be had. She was a little bummed when we were driving home and saw all the Hollywood birds as I like to call them in people's front yards under bird feeders all fanned out had to tell her that's usually normal after a day like we had. But she had the itch went back the following day in the blind by 430 this time brought her younger sister with us hopefully for good luck and to be a camara man alot of gobbling a bunch more hens then finally 730 had a Tom commit held my breath I was just as nervous as she was to make a good shot. One shot and down like a ton of bricks couldn't have been happier I was out of the blind before she was. 21.2 lbs 10inch beard. Now hopefully dads turn.
