Short turkey season for me

congrats on that VT bird! I bought my VT turkey license this year for the first time and hunted some publeic land on Sunday but did not hear a bird. Been seeing lots hear in NH but have not been able to connect yet. Nice bird!

My first bird gobbled once as it was getting light, then not again until 9:00 when I started working him.  The second one never gobbled once. There were at least three toms together and they were keeping quiet.  They almost fooled me...almost, but not quite!  ;D
