I am going to dabble a little bit this weekend, south of Indian Lake. Never really expect much but it's good to sit and make sure the gear is in order.

I've been out twice,havn't seen anything yet but not far someone shot a big 10 point,my guess it was a freak accident or a pile of corn.

Got out on the opener and yesterday for a few hours, like to stillhunt and scout early in the season. Saw no deer so far, and 3 gray fox Friday evening which explains the lack of squirrels in that spot. First one had a nice thick coat and tail, mouth squeaked it to less than 15 feet from me. The other 2 were younger and travelling together. Had been out looking for bears in the early season but none around this year, saw several by now last year.
Its always archery season. >>>---------->
Hybrid longbow in hand.
