2005 Honda Rancher 4X4.... TOTALLED. The insurance had lapsed too which was unfortunate. Seeing what homeowners will cover. I was thinking about you guys, hope everyone is ok.

We still have a bunch without power. Heard trees took out a transmission line over the river.
Got to watch the Governor fly around in his copter on Monday.... 8)
We had the flash flooding, but it is receding quickly.
Our department debated taking an engine down to help with the water problems. They were asking for at least 100 engines.

Haven't heard from a guy at work yet since he had to evacuate his house in the Schoharie(sp?) valley. I know they weren't there, but pretty sure his home is real bad. Sent three box fans to the friend whose house I hunt. He had 6" of water in his finished theater room in the basement. Fortunately the neighbors sewage that flooded his yard/pool didn't get in the house, it was just ground water.

I saw a pic today of the valley that was taken from Vrooman's Nose when the water was up.  Amazing, scary, powerful, and sad all at once.
I'm bound to stay where you sleep all day, Where they hung the jerk that invented work, in the Big Rock Candy Mountains.
