Today the snow did not what to do.
It blow and flied with the wind, but it was not really cold out.
The snow just dusted the bird feeders.
I did notice, there might be maybe 2" on the back deck.
There was not too much on the front porch.
It seems early today that the wind/snow blowing from east/west
I was aggravated with basketball today and last night, mom has pork roast in the oven as I type; so that will work out well, I will save some for a late night sandwich and watch a old movie or a basketball game

I got snow; there is about 5" that landed between the night, I think more might be coming.
It is like a giant white out outside.
My bird feeders are covered with snow, I have a little work I have to do.
I will start to shovel in an hour or two.
I am glad I stocked up yesterday; with the good stuff Whiskey and Skoal.
I do not care if the power goes out, no college basketball today, both games I watched yesterday was a real mess instead the Super Bowl is on.
I think the Patriots will do it.
If it keeps snowing, no one would be able to come over; to watch the Super Bowl, that could be a good thing.

I just shoveled the front.
 The snow was wet and heavy, I would say that there was 5 to 6" that landed and still coming;
I did not mess with the bird feeders yet.
I do not know about the road conditions are like.
I do have to shovel the back deck, to get to the grill for a baked ham.
I will keep you posted

I just finished the shoveling back deck, and got 2 of 3 bird feeders going.
It is cool to watch the birds.
It is still snowing

Where are you guys / gals ? located ? Being way up there we have had some real screwy weather so far . Not much for snow to speak of , unseasonably warm weather , rain ? and then deep drops into weather warnings on the cold temps ?? Going to be real tough on the critters trying to survive these extremes in temps

I am from Westville, Indiana but I was from Chicago Illinois.
I been out in Indiana for about 19 years now, It is cool but sucky.
I met some cool people; for instance: the neighbor to the north of us; you can not sleep, he is running his air compressor all of the time working on old Doge cars, he keeps to himself, but security lights have to go; every time we get snow or it is windy the lights go on.
The neighbor guy to the west is OK, but he seems to be higher then a kite.
Now across the road, those people are so cool, it seems like when you go there to help out with something, they make you lunch, or have a couple of cold one's. He even did some front end work on my truck, and bought the parts himself and did not charge me.
I also met a guy where I used to work; he his like my older brother; we do A Lot Of Clay Shooting.
You might think do I miss Chicago? Yes, people in Indiana do not know how to make Pizza or Italian Beef

I went outside to look at the snow, about an hour ago.
There is about another 4" and windy.
I will shovel in the morning, I need to come up with a cheap invention cover for the bird feeders..
I do have some paper work that I have to do in the morning, and I think a ham and cheese omelet with toast, and hot tea, will help me after shoveling.
I really get into winter and the snow, although my sleeping gets messed up because I am up and looking outside.
Now for late night movie and a sandwich.
I will keep you posted in the AM

Heavy snow this morning, I was up most of the night and kept looking out at it, I like snow but hate it on the ice, it makes getting around difficult.
the snow we have haven't stopped the deer from moving, I see tracks in many places. ;)
